Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a MultiWorld.

Game Options

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Disabled
  • 50: Normal
  • 99: Extreme

Accessibility

Set rules for reachability of your items/locations. **Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired. **Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.

Goal Options

Goal

Determines the victory condition. Secret Tapes + Final Level: Collect enough Secret Tapes to unlock a Final Level and score 1 Million Points on it. Secret Tape Hunt: Collect a set number of Secret Tapes spread across the multiworld.

Secret Tapes Total

Determines how many Secret Tapes are in the item pool.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 1 - 50

Secret Tapes Required

Determines how many Secret Tapes are required to either win or unlock the final level. If this number is higher than the total number of Secret Tapes, it will be set to that number instead.
This is a range option.

Skater Options

Skater Selection

Determines which Skaters can be considered for inclusion in the multiworld. Set any Skater you don't want to possibly play as to false. At least one Skater needs to be selected to play this implementation.
This option cannot be modified here. Please edit your .yaml file manually.

Skater Count

Determines how many Skaters will be picked from your selection for inclusion in the multiworld. Every Skater will have their own location checks on every level, as well as their own item progression. Make sure your selection is adequate for the desired game length. If this number is higher than the size of your Skater selection, it will be set to that number instead.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 1 - 14

Level Options

Level Selection

Determines which Levels can be considered for inclusion in the multiworld. Set any Level you don't want to possibly play as to false. A minimum of 8 Levels needs to be selected to play this implementation.
This option cannot be modified here. Please edit your .yaml file manually.

Level Count

Determines how many Levels will be picked for inclusion in the multiworld. If this number is higher than the size of your Level selection, it will be set to that number instead.
This is a range option.

Location Options

Include Platinum Scores

If enabled, locations for Platinum Scores on each level will be created when generating the multiworld.

If enabled, locations for Platinum Combo Scores on each level will be created when generating the multiworld.

Include Signature Specials

If enabled, locations for landing each of the 3 Signature Specials for each included Skater will be created when generating the multiworld.

If enabled, locations for landing a set of random long grinds, lips and manuals on each level will be created when generating the multiworld.

Score Requirement Options

Score Requirement Mode

Determines how Score requirements are set. Same for All Levels: A single percentage will be applied to the Score requirements of all levels Random per Level: Each level will have a random percentage applied to its Score requirements

Determines the percentage to apply Score requirements. You will not unlock location checks until you reach or exceed the Score requirements on a given level. When the requirement mode is set to random per level, the specified percentage will act as the maximum possible.

Combo Score Requirement Mode

Gameplay Options

Starting Trick Type Weights

Determines the relative weights of each starting trick type for a given Skater. At least one weight needs to be 1 or more.
This option cannot be modified here. Please edit your .yaml file manually.

Include Overpowered Abilities

If enabled, items for abilities that could be considered overpowered will be added to the pool. Progressive Grind Tricks gets another tier that grants perfect balance. Progressive Lip Tricks gets another tier that grants perfect balance. Progressive Manual Tricks gets another tier that grants perfect balance. Progressive Stats gets another tier that prevents the skater from ever bailing.

Trap Options

Trap Percentage

Determines what percentage of filler items will get converted to trap items. Trap Items are made up of the following types: - Post-Processing Effects (Black and White, Bloom, Chromatic, Color Inversion, Mobile Game, Retro, Tunnel Vision) - Skater Model Effects (Giant, Tiny, Wide) - Physics Effects (High Gravity, Low Gravity, Super Speed) - Control Effects (Reverse Directional Controls)

Trap Weights

Determines the relative weights of each Trap Type, if Trap Percentage is greater than 0. Each weight is required to be zero or more.

Local Items

Forces these items to be in their native world.
 

Non-local Items

Forces these items to be outside their native world.
 

Start Inventory

Start with the specified amount of these items. Example: "Bomb: 1"

Start Inventory from Pool

Start with the specified amount of these items and don't place them in the world. Example: "Bomb: 1" The game decides what the replacement items will be.

Start Hints

Start with these item's locations prefilled into the ``!hint`` command.
 

Start Location Hints

Start with these locations and their item prefilled into the ``!hint`` command.
 

Excluded Locations

Prevent these locations from having an important item.
 

Priority Locations

Prevent these locations from having an unimportant item.
 

Item Links

Share part of your item pool with other players.
